As Aber fresher's there are certain things that we feel obliged to inform you about as members of the general public. Aber is not a place in Scotland it is in fact Aberystwyth in WALES!. Our houses (that is two of them as we live next door to each other) is on top of a big hill at the highest point of the student village. We cheat getting up the hill by getting taxis if we have been shopping. There is very little in the way of interesting things to do apart from going to the pub or sit by the sea. The sea is right on our doorstep(ish) and its gets BLOODY cold. We are freezing already and its the middle of October.

Well now you've had the general info about where we are, have a look around and find out a bit more about life as an Aber fresher it is good...honest!.

NB to all. the renegade holds views that may not be seen as generalisable to the whole Aber fresher brigade as she lives in one house and spends most of her time in another...hence the name!

It has been brought to my attention that we (okay, me but I'm positive it's the same for everyone else) are not receiving the correct amount of post (snail mail... you know, when you write a letter, put it in an envelope, put a stamp on it and take it down to the post box and actually post it) from our friends from back home. Now please rectify this situation immediately. Otherwise drastic measures will have to be used (i.e we shall start writing letters to each other, which is a complete waste of a first class stamp considering we all live in crawling distance)

12/11/03   I'm about to update something. I don't know where it's going to go yet, so once again you shall have to find it. Also, it was brought to my attention a while ago that people that aren't at uni here have rubbish modems compared to us, and therefore the pictures take aaaaaages to load for them. Now as this isn't something that really bothers us, it'll get fixed soon I promise, but we've got essays and stuff at the moment so please be patient. (Fair enough, it is because the pictures are huge, but it's because due to the fact we have new computers, we have crap software. I have however stolen software that'll allow me to change the dpi so everyone will be happy)

08/11/03 as the renegade sat in her room, over heating and coughing violently a thought occured...it hurt btw....why not update the site...it may be pans but its something to do :D

08/11/03 Due to either a silly amount of people or a select few viewing the home page religiously every day, I thought I ought to explain that the likelyhood of lots of updates over the next couple of weeks is very little, due to the fact we have lots of essays due in, and if we're doing websites it's less of an excuse than things like tidying your room, rearranging your cd collection alphabetically etc. So if there are many updates, you shall be lucky.

31/10/03 Due to an abandonment of Aber this weekend (we're all buggering off home) there may be a serious lack of change on the website. We shall however be back on top form on Monday. (Note, the house over the road are all in bed before me. boring bastards. They've lost 99% of my respect and admiration.)

30/10/03 Well, as we can see, the hit count thing is going up. This therefore means that people are visiting our site. Yet there is a serious lack of people leaving messages on the guestbook. Therefore I'm rather unimpressed and I'm going to be kicking some back sides. (Getting a new message gives you the same feeling as when you have mail. And any Uni student of past or present knows how much you long for getting mail!) So please leave a message and we shall love you forever. L x x x
